Hardwood floor consumption

The installation waste that occurs during the installation of a hardwood floor is max. 5%, i.e. you have to reserve approximately 5% more than the area of the room. The waste can be even smaller depending on the shape of the room, for example if the room has a very even shape the waste can be only 3% or smaller.

Tip:
Even if a hardwood floor can be renewed by sanding, small damages are easy to fix with the help of the RealLOC locking system by removing and changing the damaged boards. For this purpose we recommend storing a few leftover boards or a whole package in a dry space, carefully packaged in plastic, so that the boards are readily available for small repairs when needed.
